National Honor Society

The National Honor Society (NHS) at Pomona High School is an aggregation of the most studious and competitive students seeking to service their communities within and around Pomona. Every one of our carefully selected members embodies qualities of service, leadership, character and scholarship.

NHS is an outstanding opportunity for high school students to make an impact. Our program is highly regarded as one of Pomona's finest and is considered to be a great asset to attain before college and in life.

We hope to develop innovators and foster peacemakers. We want to make a difference.

About

National Honor Society is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership and character.

This national organization comprises students in 10th to 12th grade who have a grade point average of 3.6 or above. Members are required to complete community service hours each semester. Projects are offered through NHS during the year for members to attain hours. NHS supports academic excellence among all Pomona students and sponsors the two academic awards ceremonies.
