Mathematics
The math team at Pomona leads all students in grades 6 through 12 in developing their mathematical thinking and problem-solving.
Illustrative Math is used in all grades through Algebra 2. Students still at the junior high school level can earn credit toward high school graduation by taking, showing mastery of and passing high school math classes to open up more accelerated courses later in their high school career.

Mathematics in Jeffco
Jeffco mathematics embraces a problem-based approach, grounded in the belief that every student possesses the potential to master grade-level mathematics. In our program, students learn math by doing math.
Teachers invite all students to contribute to mathematical learning, center student thinking, and respond as students develop conceptual understanding and essential mathematical skills.
